➕ Sessions are up to 1 hour long, from the moment of arrival to your yard.
➕ If you are running late of your time slot, you must be prepared to forfeit that time. A full hour is not guaranteed as the next client will be waiting. Please be ready with your horse.
➕ Cancellation Policy - please give a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancelling, for ANY reason, or full payment is requsted.
If the weather is horrendous on the day (storm, hail, high winds and heavy rain) and it is a mutual agreement to cancel then no payment will be required. However training can still go ahead if moderately raining or windy. Please just have your horse ready accordingly (waterproofs on)
➕ Please always check tack fitting by a professional, teeth checked and any other health checks by a vet or physiotherapist before I come out to you for a behaviour issues.
➕ If you are being involved with any of the training, I strongly advise wearing a safety helmet, gloves and protective footware. Even if doing groundwork/inhand work. Helmets very strongly advised!
Most training will not overcome a problematic behaviour in one session.
If you are happy and confident to work with what I have shown you and continue by yourself, then certainly do so. Please keep in touch to let me know how you are getting on. As well as please contact me for any further advise. I can always come back out to you again for a follow up session.
Some training is continuous and I can come out to you weekly. General schooling is always ongoing. Backing can be accomplished on a weekly basis. It's great if you can put some groundwork in between but I have had successful results training just once a week. Backing training a few times a week is also fine, but I would not recommend much more than that as I do not believe in putting too much pressure on a horse.
Some behaviours can be quite deep rooted or a big trust issue is apparent therefore this cannot be resolved by a quick fix and conquered overnight. Be prepared for some behaviour shaping to take time.
I have recently been offering remote coaching to help you train your horse. This has steadily become quite popular for those I cannot get to or some people prefer being more hands on themselves.
For a monthly fee and continuous coaching and advise, just send me video footage of what needs addressing, the unwanted behaviour or you riding/handling your horse and I coach you through what to do. Giving you weekly guidance and advise, training your horse and coaching you. Please get in touch to discuss in more detail.
Packages can be either from once a week or twice a week coaching. Please see Prices for more information.
